Battery life of the ASUS S1 LED Projector

by Jane on July 1, 2015

ASUS S1 LED Projector battery life (hours)We wrote a review earlier this month on the ASUS S1 LED Projector, read it here. However, if you’re main concern is the built-in rechargeable battery… Does this model contain one? Yes.

If you’re only interested in learning specifics of the battery, here’s the information we have gather:

Built-in is a 5 V 6000mAh battery.

When fully charged how long will it last? The charge has a lifetime of three hours.

This 3 hours of charge is superior or equal to all other mini projectors we have seen on the market (as of 2015). In fact, the Celluon PicoPro is the only other model that we have came across that provides 3 hours of charge.

Something unique about it

The battery also doubles as a power source allowing it to charge other mobile devices (phones, tablets, laptops, etc.). We have seen this ability in other electronic devices but the ASUS S1 is the first mini projector we have seen with this power source/charging feature.

ASUS S1 LED Projector internal batteryOf course this probably won’t serve as the main power source for charging all your mobile devices but there are certainly some instances where this could prove useful.

Maybe on a long road trip with your family? Your wife’s charge on her phone runs out or your kids charge on his favorite game tablet runs low? Has the power ever went out at your home for a couple days? What do you do if you need to charge your phone or laptop? With the ASUS S1 you could simply plug it into the battery.
